An immersive experience in virtual reality to discover the celestial sphere.
Equipped with virtual reality headsets, 25 people at a time will take a virtual tour with the guidance of professional astronomers.
The virtual tour will start from the starry sky of Piazza Unità d’Italia, then move on to the Observatory Station of Basovizza. From here, the viewer will have the opportunity to explore the sky at 360 degrees, as if he were on a spaceship that has just left planet Earth. Finally, the last leg of the virtual tour will be the Chilean Andes, where the largest telescopes in the world are used to investigate the deepest parts of the sky.
The experience will be offered every night with two shifts of about one our each.
