This is the complete programme of events from July to September. Here information and updates on current events.
The pinhole is a box that, in place of the lens, has a small hole drilled in a thin material. Photographs can be obtained with this box, even without the use of a film, but only with photographic paper. It can be built in a more or less rudimentary way, with materials such as cardboard, wood, tin and whatever, and can have different shapes. But the pinhole is first and foremost a tool to understand the methods of photographic shooting by freeing yourself from the clutter of technology, to use them better but also in a more creative way. Through this knowledge, it is possible to identify methods and fields of application beyond the usual ones. The workshop is conducted by photographers Annamaria Castellan and Luigi Tolotti and divided into two parts: a theoretical one
- elements of the history of photography - viewing a movie
- the pinhole, models with and without film
- how to photograph with the pinhole.
And a practical part
- loading boxes with photographic paper in a dark room
- going out to the garden for the exhibition
- development and drying of the photo
